Very fun. The guy looks so serious, in an overblown, Shonen anime sort of way, and he is perfectly counterbalanced by the, well, whatever that yellow thing is. I also like the sort of dreamlike aspects imparted the the idealized background.

He looks a lot more business-like in this version - I didn't have any real objections to your last approach but this is good as well, and I see you put some more light behind him and pulled some shadow out of the sunlight, good change.

Looking good! Very classic anime-game style. The super-deformed companion is jarring in comparison to the main figure. It IS classic, so stylistically, I have no objections to it. Great work of counter-pointed whimsy! ^__^ V,,

Much better than the previous version. The pose looks more natural and the ground is definitely more fitting to the overall image. The Barnie wannabe creeps me out though. (Too much Barnie Doom when I was younger) Heh

Great image, believable pose. One small issue though - I think the red area at the horizon is the sun going down. If it is, the shadows are wrong by some degrees - the light comes frome a different direction. Otherwise great.
