A photo of Lake Macy located just across and down the street from the B&B I stayed at in Lake Helen, FL. I took this photo from the overlook you can see at the bottom of the lake HERE. As some of you have guess, I have a new camera I am using for infrared photography. It is a used, owner-modified Sony DSC-P200 with the hot mirror replaced with a Wratten 87 filter. He had other cameras he modified so sold me this one at a price I could not refuse. So now I have a full time IR camera I can use to take handheld shots in most situations. The Wratten filter allows almost no visible light to reach the sensor, so the images from this camera are mostly monochromatic. The color variations you see here were achieved in postwork. -----

I've never really notice before all the different hues within an IR picture but this shot shows them off beautifully - and water..... I love water shots especially with super reflections like this one. Excellent Kort, simply excellent. xx
