I relly like the framing actually not so much the colour of the font - I think red would've fitted more. About your shot - it looks like you were trying to be professional/efficent with this shot and not just messing about - so honestly: The pepper is out of focus (has soft focus) and the overall view is underexposed or not well light. Those are my views - pls don't let them get you down.

I like the style and font colour,I would have brought the caption lower down as it sems too remote and not linked, apart from that its fine.

Nicely planned for a poster type image. Poster size will make a difference in the apparent balance.

I wasn't aware art had rules! Do what makes you feel good, baby! (Am I showing my age?) With PeeWee, I would prefer a sharper focus for this style, but I LOVE the image. This is way cool. The angles, the way you cut the pepper, the POV, are all excellent. Nice work!

The framing is beautiful and I like the way you offset it. The colors of the fonts are perfect and doesn't distract our attention away from the main subject. You series of this is very professional as in every of your other post. A soft and gentle taste makes this capture more flavorful. Crisp would have been over fried. You have done so well and I like it. My Opinion.... Aloha

And all along I thought they were called red peppers. And they're loaded with Vitamin C. Nice colors and lighting effects in the composition, Tunde! But, as PeeWee05 mentioned, it could stand some sharper focus. Other than that, perfecto! Love the cast shadow!

I totally agree with Diane to Tunde!! I don't critique works unless someone asked me to or its really needed, sigh! Now I really do love your framing style now.. And i can tell that you are doing much better then many others around, sigh! Love the two shades of gray colours, the main and the inner one. Now regarding what Vera said on your red pepper, I am not sure tho! Because it is very hard to judge when the contrast is to high! High contrast can cause the lack and lost of details as well the colours. You know what I mean? Now here is an advice about your typo/text: Always, use a small fonts, simple, and professional looking ones, you are not presenting a halloween or party poster.. Sigh! Another advice.. Always, on such shots, posters as you said, use two colours only for your text/typo! Either black or white, you can mix both as well! Those two colours are winners and for ever! Now you can visit my tutorial about adding glamour light and glow to you shot! That will help to remove some noise tho, unless you want it to be that way, and it is a filter. Other then that! I wanna see the next shot/post from you, I like the series.. Food makes me hungry :D Thank you Tunde and have a wonderful day honey JOE

It is nice to see some creative and productive discussion going on here. As for the image, I am drawn to it, but feel the over all photograph is underexposed and the stem especially needs a bit of light as not to hide it. I also see you tried working with the light to bring out the seeds and that is good, but it still needs some work. Simplicity is not one of the easiest things to shot since all one has is the subject matter and light. Oh yes, light! Light is what will make this photograph become a shinner, but you will need to have on hand a variety of reflectors from white foam core to mirrors and other other kinds of reflective surfaces. Remember ther is only one light source and only one, everything else is reflective. As for the framing, it is what also drew me to this image, so it works for me. On the typeface I am going to withold my thoughts until the lighting issues are resolved and we see how the pepper end up being. From a graphic design standpoint, I feel I can say this as I was agraphic designer and professional photographer of more than thirty years, the composition and theme works, noting the general earlier remarks. Thank you for sharing. egmont

An excellent pict that touched me a lot due to the creativity and composition! Technic is good... BUT cretivity is very, very, very GOOD! A good pratician is not always creativ... and that sorrows me! Technic can be learnt but creativiy is innate!

I'm all for it! Frame, font and colors. Just wished for a little more clarity on the pepper itself. With it it would have been an absolute masterpiece!
