Description

Went to Rapid City, South Dakota for a wedding this past weekend. My first time at Mount Rushmore.

Are those guys still hanging around? LOL. You had a great day with wonderful light for this capture. The Black Hills are spectacular. We were back there again in June last year but arrived late enough in the afternoon that they were backlighted....but the incredible thunderstorm that chased us to Deadwood for the night was like something out of a horror movie....in fact it reminded me of the arrival of the aliens over Devils Tower in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". That whole area is fascinating.
