Description

This wasn't a photo I'd really originally intended to upload, but after seeing one of Rich's recent uploads, the title reminded me of this shot, so I had to steal the title and then dedicate it to Rich. LOL It's really a one-horned Water Buffalo at the Hawaii Rainforest Zoo in Hilo. I forget if the sign said anything about why or how it had fallen off, but he just looked so sad I had to take his picture (don't ask what that says about me...not sure I want to know :P ) John (click to see full size)

Oh my gosh... I can only imagine how stiff and sore his neck must get having to balance that weight on just the one side. And such a sweet face. Great capture. I love it.

Funny, but he (she, what do I know about buffalo) doesn't really look all that sad to me, I picture him (her) as more the herd (can't really say class, now can you) clown! A creature of infinite jest that keeps all the other buffalo on their hooves, great to have around at impromptu soiree around the old watering hole.
