Amantani Island (Lake Titicaca - Peru) Where we lived with a local Quechan family for one day and night ... and a very delicious dinner they prepared !

we eat : La sopa de quinoa : Quinoa's origins are truly ancient. It was one of the three staple foods, along with corn and potatoes (more than 1000 varieties) of the Inca civilization. ...un potage hautement nutritif avec pour ingrient principal la quinoa = graine sacr des incas !

I have tried several times to figure out how to make something good with Quinoa, but I fail every time!! Still, this is a excellent picture. You must have had quite a wonderful adventure.
