That's a dam good photograph......... Harnessing the power of the mighty Columbia is quite a feat considering the river has it's origin in south eastern British Columbia and your photo demonstrates the dam's awesome responsibility in that regard. My wife's folks are from the Portland area and we often travelled the Columbia Gorge......spectacular scenery. Oregon is a beautiful state from east to west, north to south. The Columbia River used to be the border between Canada and the US until they settled on the 49th parallel. Perhaps Cascadia will become a reality one day.
