Description

More people, the young Pompey confidently told the fearsome dictator Sulla, worship the rising than the setting sun. It did the trick: Pompey surived his dangerous protector by three decades In these days of cameras, though, I am quite sure that more people photograph the setting than the rising sun. Is it simply that the view west is just prettier? Near Rincon de la Vieja, Costa Rica.

Is it simply that the view west is just prettier?<< No, I'm sure it's just that people are too damn lazy to get up before sunrise to catch it. But a sunrise is (IMHO) prettier than a sunset. It's a feeling of life renewed.

OMG This is gorgeous!! There is nothing more beautiful then a gorgeous sunset or sunrise, especially in Hawaii, of which we will be getting married there in 14 weeks!! WOW How exciting! This sunrise is much like a west coast USA sunrise in the summer-time. Simply breathtaking!!! HUGZ! Tamela

Your shot is so beautiful. Gorgeous, as the light is leaving. I adore both the rise and the setting of the sun. The two most precious times of day. I am often up and about to take shots of the dawn. A wonderful day to you. Diane.
