Description

Do you remember that old saw about "between a rock and a hard place"? Sometimes when nature tests that idea, this is what happens to the rock. LOL Shooting conditions: afternoon daylight/clear, direct sunlight; Nikon 4300; automatic. The postwork was done in Photoshop 7: limited to crop, resize, optimize for web. Thank you very much for viewing. I appreciate each and every comment that you offer My progress depends on your honest criticism and advice as well as praise.

I think that it is cropped a bit close. This causes the feeling of natural forces to be limited. The use of light is good in the photo. The rock is an interesting shape almost anatomical but the color contrast is such that it is hard to tell the wood from rock therefore the significance of your title. I would say that it would be better to give a general title and to let your audience explore the picture for personal meaning. Irinka
