This is really beautiful! Are you SURE this isn't really a photograph? ;=) DO keep up the good work. DPH

This is lovely :) It has sort of a Thomas Kincaid feel to it.

That's a good example - can you do me a favor since I'm very curious about tech details in vue, as you post could you give a little technique info e.g. what lighting model is used? That would be great :) Without knowing how serious this is - the atmospheric haze came out pretty well, but the very bright top/left sky makes me wonder why the haze is there (hope it's not smog!). Lights in the house make me think it's early in the morning maybe. The little stream looks VERY nice, just might want to obscure the bank or set up a little material zone of sand/rocks/dirt along the edge where the grass line looks a bit too sharply defined. I am guessing you have an ecosystem to place the plants, which means you can set the ground type by elevation - where it gets shallow and crosses the water plane you can have the ground material change (I've got a tutorial on that somewhere at home).

I like this very much. the flowers are perhaps a little large - but I don't think that matters :)

This is very good! I love the composition and the lighting. The details are great, like the light inside the house. I think that near the foreground you should cover more the ground texture with grass as there it becomes very noticeable that it's just a texture. The flowers are indeed too large. The render would perhaps need a bit more anti-aliasing (visible on the house and on the water near it). But these are just details, the image is very well made!

Very beautiful and serene image. There just seems to be a bit too much light for the fog and lights in the house. It seems like a midmorning sky, but the other elements speak of dawn, early morning.

Very nicely done for someone who was just playing around with lights. I really like your image setup, they all come together very well. "Great job"

Nothing too earth shaking? Wow such modesty! LOL. I couldn't do that, that looks near a photo. Excellent work.

Almost photographic. Vue is such a mystery for me...

"Nothing too earthshaking?" The realism is stunning. I also agree about the Thomas Kincaid look, but it seems to me that there is a bit too much "noise" in the river near the house.

agreeing with everything everyone has said so far, with an emphasis on loving this image. since no one has mentioned it, i'd also say that the swans need a bit of help. they're in the foreground, but they're the least realistic element. an improved texture would be great, but if even if you just added some displacement so they weren't so smooth, it would be an improvement. but that's minor. i love the feel of this image, it's so peaceful and welcoming.

All I can say is it's a lovely scene. I can't offer any real crits 'cause I can't see any real problems, and I use Bryce, not Vue. :)

Nice scene - well-composed. Draws the eye in well. The water texture is great - photographic!
