Another very fine scene! The water is perfect - not easy to achieve. The clouds, colors and lighting make a mood that is strongly felt and the moreso because it's photoreal enough to recall similar days from the real world to the viewer. As usual, you attention to detail and many fine objects give that sense of "more-than-one-can-take-in" which is so important to realism. And yet the scene also works at a simpler, more abstract and painterly level as well. I expect that this one would last for years on a wall and still offer visual nourishment. One littel nit to pick: Perhaps the masts on the foreground ship are too perfect? Maybe need a bit of "dirt"? You're certainly setting a high level for pastoral scenes. Much appreciated here!
