Description

Well I figured I should try my hand at making my own textures... This is just the head (texture and morph by me) and I do plan on doing the body next but I wanted to see what everyone thought. Special note to the Critique Group: This is a very difficult process and something I consider way beyond my abilities but I really wanted to try it... So be gentle :P Tiny touch of softening on the nostrils in PSP but other then that no postwork. Look forward to any comments! :D

I really like what you have so far, she's very alien. The eye decoration is understated and elegant, I've never seen it done that way before. The face map suits the character. Good going so far, looking forward to seeing the end result. edited to add: And I really love the hair also, it's very mystical and unearthly.

This is lovely. I really like the n0n-human skin tone, sort of a greyish/taupey/ivory color. And the facial morph is charming.

The skin looks good so far. Just one small comment though, most skin is a variation in colour ie. not the same all over. Even though this is more fantasy, I still think you need to make the colouring less uniform.

Well I like this - maybe a tad more difference of colour in the lips but that is really minor

The skin is great, though I would agree with anniebel about colour variations. Especially I would give the lips a different colour so as to make them less plastic-like. The eyes and eye make up are perfect.

I expect that part of your work on the skin texture was the makeup, which looks quite good! I'd only suggest that you follow the shape of the eye a bit more rather than cutting across the fold - I know that's a tough problem because the curve isn't too obvious from looking at the texture. You are several steps ahead of me on this, I really need to learn to modify face textures for makeup just this way. Great job, I look forward to seeing more of what you do with this!
