Description
In the image above, I have tried to give an impression of the immense size and power of a nuclear powered Ohio Class sub patrolling on the surface in the eerie Arctic twilight. (Hardly the easiest thing to do on the small canvas of a computer screen!)
I know that accurate portrayal of vessels of any type can be difficult, but nevertheless, they are always an interesting challenge to a 3D imager. I trust my feeble efforts might encourage others to have a go.

As an ex, submariner this image is especieally enjoyable, you have done a good job of recreating the feel of a sub on the surface. Where did you get the model, I have been looking for a good model of 751 Class to use in my work. Great job.

I think your attempt came out quite well. I am very impressed with that wake. Great POV, like a shark closing for the attack. Wonderful colors and setting.

Great image one can almost make out the crew on the flying bridge. I love the wake from the bow and the reflections. I can almost feel the salt spray again thanks for the picture and the memories. Dan.
