-------------------------------- PIN-UP SERIES 3 - PART 2 -------------------------------- Model: Alisha Background: The idea came up some time ago to do a series of Pin-Up type shoots centering around the 1940s WW2 era for a possible Calendar/Book/Website idea. It's a ever on-going project and quite a lot of fun! The project would cover near perfect copies of vintage pin-ups and aircraft nose art, and would also have a majority of new poses/outfits themed in the 1940s style. Photo Description: In this shot, I thought it might be fun for Alisha to have a WW P-51D Mustang and replicating the famous aviation art where the fighter pilots use little models of their aircraft to demonstrate manuvers they did. Just a fun little pose. Alisha is wearing a WW2 USAAF Officer's Jacket. The jacket has been restored to wartime look for a 8th Air force pilot. The P-51D Mustang is 1:18 scale from Blue Box Toys (BBI) and in the colors of Bud Anderson's WW2 P-51D Mustang 'Old Crow' Camera: Canon EOS 20D with Canon 28-135mm USM IS lens.

What a gorgeous model, and the young lady is not bad looking, either! Her pose and expression certainly hearken back to the pin-ups of the '40s era, especially Betty Grable. Nice work!
