Description

Just taking a flower break away from the lava fields. I don't know what kind of flower this is but they were from a tree in full blossom at a place called Pu'uanahulu (Kona side of the Island). This flower was very difficult to focus because it was just blowing in the wind. Aloha and thank you for viewing

onefeather....It is not a ragweed but from a fairly tall tree. And yes, my title did come from that song. Aloha

Perhaps it was the wind, but this has a very different feel from much of your work. I like it. Aloha!

Looks similar to something I saw while there, but don't recall what that one was either. LOL. Beautiful image. Love how part is focused and part isn't. Fantastic! :)

Wind, the bane of the still photographer. Still, you did a mighty fine job capturing this unknown flower. Very evident that this was a macro.

It looks like it might be a silk-oak, Proteacea Grevillea. I found some pictures in this gallery at webshots: http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/550371304fdPHFu Very nice job on this one. Everything is working together so well.
