Description

After lurking here for a while and trying to pick up tips I finally got the nerve to try building an image and this is my first render in VUE 5. Itis very simple I know, it was really an exercise in building my own confidence. All items are from the stock VUE 5 collections. I am not really happy with it apart from actually having started something.I know that there are many ways to improve it but I would be very grateful for advice on lighting this scene more realistically, and especially grateful if someone can explain to me how to place ripples around the leopards Paws and tongue, it wouldnt be a masterpiece but I would feel happier with it. Thanks for any info or criticism, Im here to learn. Midge

This is a Very nice start, don't sell yourself short. If none of the preset skies are ligting your scene the way You want then you should go to the Vue Tuts section here at Rosity found at this address: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/tutorial/index.php?browse&section_id=44 All of them are good to Great, but if you are like me I prefer watching a video and I learn much faster by it, so look for "Art Head Start Videos by Jim Coe" they are very useful and Free. But the best advice is always, Practice, Practice, Practice. I look forward to your next upload :^D

It's a great start Midge. Sorry I can't offer any advice, alas I haven't got a clue about Vue. At a guess I'd say there must be a solution to the 'rings' in the terrain editor thingymagig... Keep going, there's an artist in all of us, just bustin' to get out!

Excellently posed. You've got that action down to a 't'.
