I left Renderosity permanently because the management of this site didn't treat me fairly (they think they can do whatever they want, even if their actions are not based on any rule, and they still expect people to obediently bow their heads when they do so).
I will not delete my galery here but I will not update it with new images either. My new gallery is at DeviantArt (much better site!), under the name ArthurBlue.

Hehehe Cool reprise ..the only flaw i think is the COW ... When you ise a Horse it looks more real .. a cow in a dessert with a cactus ? ;} But it is a cool idea

I'm a sucker for surrealism and you've done great here! I like the water in the desert panel better than the desert in the water, but enjoy both.

Thanks for the kind comments! Regarding BAR-CODE comment of a cow in the desert, well, that's not unusual, I would say. If you google "cow desert" for images, you'll find plenty of them! Really plenty! Here's a good one, for example: http://a1692.g.akamai.net/f/1692/2042/7d/boubekeur.blog.lemonde.fr/files/keep_walking_desert_cow.jpg Or another one: http://talkingtree.org/photoblog/images/20061016195620_deadcow.jpg Anyway, I have another motivation for putting a cow and not a horse. A cow has that calmness to it, that indolence, that passiveness. I wanted the cow to be a secondary element in the picture. If I put a horse, it would become a main element, due to it's majesty and imponence. And furthermore, I wanted a good paralell with the fish in the upper picture because the cow is the food for the vulture, the fish is the food for the gull. In terms of personality, fish and cow have many paralells. A horse doesnt.

The only quibble I have is the amplitude of the sand beneath the vulture doesn't match the desert. Other than that minor thing, it's a wonderous piece of work! Really magical! ^__^ V,,

Excellent work. You have an interesting set of ideas and a real talent for making them real. I guess that there are a few little quibbles I could make but I won't because I enjoy the pieces as you have envisaged them.

The concept behind this image is really intriguing. This is what I call "art". My best compliments!

Great picture, good idea. Keep the cow where it is.

What a really great pair of images. I love the way the lines of the dunes are roughly in sync with the lines of the waves. A little style thing I would suggest is to somehow make the cow look more "dead", perhaps as if the vulture has been eating from it, but that may just cross into the grotesque rather than the surreal. Really a neat parallel, this would make a great pair of prints to put side by side in a physical gallery.
