Description
These are examples of my latest variation on the Black Templar space marine textures and additional poses. There are additional shoulder textures to reflect the various positions within the Black Templar Chapter such as Apothocary as well as advancement such as a member of the Sword Brethern. I will post examples of these later.

I used to love WH40k but havent played or painted for years and years. This is totally cool, great work with the armour!!

Thanks Lown. I'm really happy with the way the texture is turning out. I find myself thinking of further additions that can be made, but I certainly don't want it to become gaudy. (Even though on some of the models, they certainly can be.) The model is a freebie from Obiwan and you can find a link to it in a very excellent thread at http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=41678 If your a fan of Warhammer 40,000 I highly recommend checking out the thread and seeing what's going on. You'll be impressed with the models that are in the works including Space Marine armor specifically for The Freak as well as weapons and textures. It's all about our appreciation of the Warhammer 40,000 series and our desire to make some fantastic fan art.

This is very cool I love the lighting the shadow play on the setting really gives the characters dimension and depth! The armor design is also very cool!

Ah yes excellent I downloaded the orginal package for the Black Templars you posted over at DAZ and have been playing with them a bit. For anyone who doesan't know (since there isn't a readme) you use the Dark Angel Marine as a base and then simply apply the Black Templar textures in the materials editor. Works fine in DAZ I've done a few test renders. Excellent work and thankyou for sharing them with us as well. ^^
