Description

People going to work off shore on the oil stuff call Grand Isle "End of the World" Get on hyway 1 going south and go all the way down intill you can not go no more and you there. You be asking "Are we there yet" It looks like a nice place. I was surprise it was not destroy from the storm that destroy New Orleans. You do not hear these people complaining like New Orleans. I just saw one house with some windows broken that was not up to stiff here. The rest look like new paint jobs and new roofs. Not from the goverment but they own work. Louisiana is sadly behind on helping the people here. Not they fault; They been doing this way from the Civil War days. Oh I off the subjuct lol "Not like me hahahahahahah" I off all the time I know. I like this shot even thought my camera did not open all the way. It get stuck at times so when I open it; I learn to look first but I was driveing at 35 mph here shot thought a dirty window too. lol. I did clean the camera but I guess it getting old now. Guess it six years old. I saw some hotels there. I like that trailer up on those stilts. That be my style lol. If I had the money I would have a house but then I be worry of storms. A lot of these is camps and places to rent too. You see this all alone the Louisiana and Texas coast line. Thanks for looking and comments

Jocko, this is a very nice "time of the long shadows" photo capture of an interesting area. We have a few raised homes around here due flooding, but none as high in the air as these you found. Excellent photo and write-up!!!
