Description

Walked the clifftops to Raindale this afternoon, a walk of about two and a half hours. It was freezing. I hope the wind will have blown the cold/flu bugs away :-)) I have supper to cook now.. so best get to it. Have a happy eventime all. Hugs. Diane. Edit, the blob in the sea is a moored boat! Would not have fancied being on it in the bitter cold.

I love the composition of this shot - stunning and the way the lighting is dancing on the water - it looks amazing, but yes, I bet it was cold out there so close to the sea. Beautiful shot. I hope you are soon feeling much better. Hugs, Chrissy xx

The walk was more than worth it. Look at the beautiful view you captured, Diane! (Of course I hesitate to tell you that I was down on the Galveston Beach Clean-Up today with a temperature of 82 F, but that's life in the subtropics.)

I thank you all for comments. I am truly glad you all have the warmth, the sunshine I so crave... It is so horrible to be in the bitter gales when we are nearly in Maytime in Bay. I will start knitting little sweaters for my swifts and swallows.. They should return to me next week.. If Oom Piet has sent them home to me from Africa... Na Night and Hugs. Diane.

It is amazing the different views of this enchanted place you post. Unless they are to show the difference the seasons make, no two are alike! I've not seen a bad one yet. BJ

This is so like what I've imagined as I've read English mysteries .. so beautiful! I did laugh at your comment about having to knit little sweaters for your swifts and swallows! We too are having cold weather, but it's not all that unusual for this time of year. Still, it would be nice to have warmer days and some sunshine! Hope your cold is gone soon and you are feeling better

A great view but it does look cold and I bet the wind went right through you instead of around you. Do hope it cleared the flu though. Those houses do look to be very close to the edge.
