Description

The madness continues. I've added an additonal Company No. to the left kneepad after continuing research into where to put symbols and such. Also I've put a Sons Of Horus Chapter symbol on the chest peice, for use with some of the armor configartions such as the one here, basicly it repaces the Imperial Eagle normally placed there and helps identify the wearer from different angles. I've also added the power glove and have redone the Jump Packs, Mrk 7 helmets, and so on to give a variety of options just like the Imperial Marines. The lighting here is alittle different then usual. I was trying to get a red/pink effect to match the floor lights, and it's also lit from the bottem instead of the top, so the textures are going to look darker then in normal white lighting (see previous renders). There's a few more options I'm working on. Basicly the idea is to utilize as many of the different accesories included with the Obiwan space marines, but with Sons Of Horus markings, colors, etc. Each peice will probably end up having a bunch of different texture options with different varations of ornamentation as well as a blank option to allow for new ideas. I've diliberatly held off working with external geometries not included in the obiwan packs to create more detailed characters for the moment although I certianly have some ideas there. The idea for now is to try and get as much out of the orginal models with just different textures as possible to make it easier for people to incorperate like ideas into there own works, no doubt surpassing this humble effort. Thankyou for putting up with this slow process and continuing to view and add nice comments and such. Once things wrap up a bit I'm hoping for more complex renders. ^^
