Description
The Sons Of Horus Textures are now more or less completed in terms of a base set, so I put them up over at DAZ in the freepository in the 40K project thread for download.
The new texture packs by Tsalmaveth (Bronson over at DAZ) for the Black Templers are also now available and look awesome he's done a magnifacant job I'd hoped to have a image of them in action to post today but I don't think I'll make the midnight deadline with what I hope to do so I decided to put up this test shot for today's image.
Meanwhile I've been working on a second set for The Emporer's Children, another of the Traitor Legions of Marines formally loyal to the Emporer before the Horus Heresy.
This basic test shot shows the orginal colors of the Legion, purple and gold, as well as the Chaos version of the Chapter symbol on the left shoulder and tactical squad symbol on the right. The topnotch is from the Space Wolves helmets, and The Emporer's Children also use them on there helmets so I figured it'd look good here.
There will probably be some refinements but this is the basic form.
I apologize again for all the test shots over the last few days but I'm excited. ^^

I like this one, I love the colour, possibly the best one yet. Question on the texture sets in general, are you also going to do some that have had some wear - i'e mud, scratches etc?
