Description

This was a poem i wrote when staying in Madrid, Spain, for a year. It is the only poem i have ever written, as anything i write is normally for songs (ie. all 2 of them i have ever written - and infact both were written in Spain anyway) - indeed this started out with the intention of being for a song, but in the end it turned into something more akin to a poem: Sitting, sleeping, dozing, drawing, a man lay on his bed, snoring. The flies around him go on their way, just another man, another day. We see a number working on the street, a beauty wrapped danger, or is it a treat? Another corner sees a new light, a tower with insuperable height. The rest of the place is covered with flies, a change unnoticed if one of them dies. The man arises still asleep, off to work, to earn his keep. Hum-drum, rumble, mumble, doldrum, the height of sound, then there was none. One, two, three, four, now who's that knocking at his door? A fly is back again with a friend, another story which will never end. The end of the day is upon him once more, so like yesterday he settles the score He reaches over to turn out the light, and says to the city "Buenas noches, Good Night!" Bet you weren't expecting that one - 234 photos down the line ;) Rich :)

I see you very good in the "Retiro Park", sit in the grass and where you have all this inspiration on this poem. A very nice place for that and for to forget the work world during some hours. In ingl : The light was extinguished, Music has stopped already Your sweat cools off It returns to sound The noise of the motor Of the car that goes away But before marching We could return to dance and to drink without stopping, You do not forget the night is always like your You want it to see or to imagine, in your city Good night, friend You do not forget now you go away you have a friend, Difficult to take Always of the bad humor But after all, a friend ... Excellent words my friend and very nice sensation !!! Good day and Buenas noches :)
