Description

When I was a child (eons ago in another century) :o) We had a Maypole and would dance around it and play games at school. It was so much fun. Then suddenly they stopped doing it and it was never explained, at least not to the children. I was later told there were two reasons why they stopped having the Maypole. 1. It was based on Pagan beliefs and 2. The Communist's celebrated May Day as the International Workers Day. Like our Labor Day. Their parades brought out the big guns, tanks and rockets. That was considered militaristic. Whether true or not, that's what I was told. :o) I thought it would be nice to have our own Maypole and everyone can dance around it and have fun and laugh! It's a full moon, need a better excuse? :o) A Happy Joyous May Day to everyone! Now, I would like to thank all the wonderful artists who commented and favored my last image, you dear friends have put me on the art chart! I feel so honored! Thank you so much! :o) Boy did I luck out again, no postwork. I made the Maypole in Bryce 6 and wreath around it from vines from Traveler and Judith.
