Description

Captured 4/27/07 about 8:10 AM, approximately three quarters of a mile from my humble domicile. It was somewhat dark and overcast at the time of capture, so I postworked some brightness and contrast into the flower. The water drops are not from rain, dew, or a sprinkler system. Knowing the home owners, they got up very early in the morning and liberally hosed down their lawn and garden, sans a nozzle, so it got a good soaking. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy yourself, its later than you think.

With the dew, and those colors, that detail and that glow -- just perfect. "I'm gonna sing you a hundred verses in ragtime, I know this song it ain't never gonna end. I'm gonna march you up and down along the county line, Take you to the leader of a band. Just like Crazy Otto, just like Wolfman Jack, Sittin plush with a royal flush, aces back to back. Just like Mary SHELLEY, just like Frankenstein, BREAK your chains and count your change and try to walk the line. Did you say your name was Ramblin Rose? Ramble on baby, settle down easy Ramble on Rose." from Ramble On Rose by the Grateful Dead

What a beautiful rose! Your postwork choices look great. Nice, vivid colors without being too much. I love the color gradation on the petals. The water is lovely, origin notwithstanding.

I love the way a petals creates a fractual pattern, big bonus is all the nice water dropps. Nice color of the rose too specialy a fading into darker colors to the base of the flower head.
