Description
Captured 4/14/07 in lovely Echo Park in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
Kind of a poignant shot of a local denizen of the park. And, like my previous upload, I had to employ some postwork cloning in order to get rid of a baby stroller, blanket, diaper bag, some trash in the guitar case, some broken fronds on the lawn, and a skinny tree growing out of the top of the young man's head.
And, for you cropping mavens, I hate to crop water out of my images, but, if absolutely needed, I keep it to a minimum. Other than that, most everything else is fair game.
Thanks for dropping by, and for your continued moral support!

Once again you succeeded in bringing out the best from the scenery. It looks very tranquil and the guitarists calm relaxed pose adds a pleasant mood to the picture.

"Going to the park one day, in the very merry mont of May..." Nicely edited Mr. Bojangles!

Looks good but I sure think a tree growing out of his head would have been something pretty amazing. :-) a nicely taken relaxed shot.

Great job Harry! I like the orange shirt with a bright green grass mix. Did you give some money to him...after all he is your model for this shot...lol
goodoleboy
babuci: no, I didn't give him any money. I had spent it all on gas/petrol just to drive up there from far away.

a little debris on the right but an over all fine job of cloning. I did a car last night-well actually two nights trying to get right. was his music pleasing?

Just enough the water to get the feeling of the scene. Good job on the cloning. Nice, and moody.

I'm not sure how I feel about boys playing guitar in the park. I'd have to hear him in order to know if I like this or not! If he played well, then I love it! :) I'm with you on the whole water thing - more is usually better. (Origin of water TBD.)
