My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very nice capture!

Gorgeous colors and soft effects in this stellar macro of what appears to be a melting grape flavored popsicle, T! Is this related in any way to a calla lily? The black stem popping out of the top reminds me of that. As for That Girl: Marlo Thomas Gidget: Sandra Dee AquaNet: What is that, some kind of hair shampoo?

What a stunning capture of a bleeding heart flower. I have never seen one in person and just go crazy for photos of them. I can totally see the 1960s flip here, and in pink - a punk mod look. Love it!

Some time ago, I used to have a 'bleeding heat' plant growing inmy garden and then one day it just did not reveal itself in spring. I miss it so. Your imagination regarding the 60's hairstyle is fantastic and from now on I will view the plant when i see it a little different. Thank you for sharing. egmont
