Description
Well i haven't uploaded nor made anything for quite a while now, guess its time to.
This image is actually a scene from an episode out of firefly (sci-fi), when i saw it i just had to make something similar.
Rigged in Poser 7, rendered in vue 6 and some minor post work in PS.

This IS beautiful. Colors are vibrant. The gun is flat in comparison to the glow of the girls flesh. Perhaps you could use the dodge tool to highlight some of the edges of the metal to make it pop. An eye catching painting. #5 Rating.

striking image! especially with that title. i think a hint of background, to ground her in an actual place, might make this even stronger since to be careless, something has to be in danger. i like the lighting, and how her skin catches it. combined with her pose she seems almost innocent of her actions. what dress is that? it looks gorgeous.

You've really capture the look of River here. Of course, in that scene, her "careless" shooting was perfectly on target. Foreshadowing of things to come.

River Rocks!! An excellent interpretation of the scene. My memory of that scene, the muzzle flare overshadowed the gun.

Great scene here! I particularly like the lighting on the skin but I think there's a strange seam around the right shoulder/armpit when I look at it in full view. I couldn't tell you how to get rid of it but I'm sure it's there. Also a few strands of hair seem to be clipping into the neck skin but that could just be my imagination! ;) Otherwise, fantastic!

I really like this. Not many colours, but the ones in there are very rich and blend well together. I like the hint of highlight on her extended arm. Her pose is also really well done. I really like the dress. Can you let us know where it can be found?

Perfect lighting, just perfect. Wonderful pose. The only thing maybe you could work more would be the gun. It's very much in the foreground and it looks too flat for that, just a dull grey overall.

Im thinking about playing a bit with the gun texture and might make a re-upload, also a background would be nice, to bad i suck at backgrounds. Thanks for all the comments and the constructive criticism, it really helps and makes me want to work harder and do better.

Really nice edge light on the hand and contour of the face, and good hand posing where she interacts with the gun. Some more "stuff" going on in the composition would be nice though :)
