Description

I kept beating my brains out trying to figure how to make an overhang that would make a complete arch. Impossible with terrain generation and displacement. What you see here is six sphere objects, each displaced with a fractal terrain, and positioned to form the arch. It needs work, to say the least, but by jiminy - I did it! Oh, by the way, in a test render, I brought that gassy little moon to the surface - whoa... Maybe later... Thanks for looking in!

Wow this is really cool. I like this one for the lack of detail on the stones in the foreground and the arch is bizarre but really grabs your attention. This looks like it should be in a cgi version of the Flintstones.

Looks like something a dog did ....... but in a good way!!! I don't understand what you said on how you did it but I love it!! I really like the cartoon quality in the foreground too. Can you do more please?
