Description
Captured 5/3/07 in the Pavilion of Wings, located on the lovely premises of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
No lengthy treatise today, just an observation that butterflies, with their wings extended, resemble fighter aircraft, stealth or otherwise.
Unfortunately, I didn't bother to check as to the name of this particular variety. Just too focused on my mission I guess.
Thank you all for your very kind comments on my previous posting(s).

Awesome focus on butterfly AND flowers. Love the DOF on this! This one with the brown and white, with this interesting POV, does look like a stealth aircraft, doesn't it? Great job.

Beautiful shot. I like the colors and especially the pov. Although I can not say for a fact that it is one of the Zebra Longwing butterflys, it certainly reseambles them quite a bit. Thanks for sharing. Lee
