Description
Headlines from February 1962. A follow up to an earlier image upload I did several weeks ago.
Made everyrhing in 3ds Max.
Including the News Photo of the launch.
Created and assembled all the textures in PS.
For me, the most interesting part was making the ashtray. Its a single mesh lathed and using soft select transformations for the detail.
Rendered in Vue 6I with Global Occlusion and Quadratic lights.

What I would've loved to see in this render is some reference to the sixties, apart from the paper. 60's designed glasses for example, a lamp or something. 60's design was so cool, it's a shame there is nothing of it to see here. Nice caustics.
