another impressive picture. Not sure what's happening with the lips, the bluish tinge looks like an artefact. So obviously you have been watching a salsa film, or Cuban jazz perhaps. Not sure how the mexican hat fits in, but I assume the whole image is a large Tortilla about to be flipped? I don't pretent to understand all the complexities of the composition and they are very subtle this time (I think better than the pic before last) but the only thing that didn't seem to ring true was the question mark and exclamation makrs above the head. I think perhaps a Metronome would have set the pace to the image but thats just what popped into my head when I saw it. I Do so enjoy just sitting back and dissecting your work and marvelling at how seamlessly its all put together and fits so well. Quoting jerife at renderotica: "I silently rise my hat and bow till the front touches the earth" Raj

Wow, this eggy, receding regression of heads & assemblage of musicians conjures up a lot of imagery for me, among which: spicy Mexican food, the heat of the southwestern desert & for some reason, Django Reinhardt, the great gypsy jazz guitarist. It also reminds me of this simple abstract sketch we used to draw as kids (wish I had a way of sketching it here) & would ask people to try to identify (it was an aerial view of a Mexican with a Sombrero frying an egg). And it visually conveys to me the idea of a group of musicians in sync with each other to the point that they merge into a single entity. But my favorite part is the inexplicable blue guy with 4 hands & the pencil sharpener mouth whose skyline head is chained to the main head group. Brilliant & unique work as always...
