Description
This is the Sons Of Horus after there renaming as the Black Legion. After certian events following the Horus Heresy, the Sons Of Horus became the Black Legion. They repainted there Armor in mostly black colors, which suits there new name.
This is a work in progress but the basic color scheme is pretty much finished. I think it gives the former Sons Of Horus a much more menacing and chaos sort of feel with the Red Arrow on the helmet and black armor coloring to offset the brass, rather like a Black Widow Spider, classic danger signels to add to there menacing appearance.
Need to add some symbols and such things etc but this is the basic new color scheme. What do you think? ^^

I see yopu have great fun with the outfits .. But one thing about this image.. The front figure and the background dont match at all Thats a shame.. when you blurred the back a bit it looks more as one image :] Chris

Well the backround is just a picture one of a series of industrial backrounds that were taken by someone and put in the free stuff section here. I've been using them as backrounds for the WIP pictures but it's not a true setting as such, just thought it'd be better then a plain white backround because this way I can also use them when making my vids for utube as filler shots in bettween the battle scenes. There are no effects and one basic light, same as all the other WIP figures, so it's basicly just one marine set against a backdrop. The grain and blur on the backround is all from the cameras of the person who shot them, so like them or don't like them credit goes to them either way. I'm just workings on the figure ^^

Nice equipment, but try to do the left hand bigger and sharpen, maybe it looks more agressive

I agree about the hand but the textures you've added look incredible!

The hand is in scale, it's bent backwards the first time I saw the pose I thought it looked off too but it is in proportion to the rest of the figure. No rescaling shall be done to the obiwan orginal mesh, this I speak now and it is truth.... meh. ^^

actually i like this one crimson its most different. i like how the background is not focused it looks like your looking through someone eyes and there moving. very nice. Jamie i just dont think some people understand the whole image thing.
