Description
Another one from my mandala series , based on inked drawings .
All of the different areas of the disc were textured with artmatic textures . The disc itself was then assembled in photoshop ,and exported back to artmatic for advanced color processing and adding all the additional circle patterns and shading

Yes good, but you can do that all in Artmatic, try the alpha shader....

Hey boblog I guess I could do it all in artmatic .... maybe .... It would become a really really complex tree wouldn't it ? And then still I'd have to do some prework in photoshop to define all the areas that need different textures (I used 6 different ones on different areas of the disc itself) I would be very interrested to hear how you would do that . I'm don't consider myself an artmatic master (merely changing existing complex structures and creating simple ones myself) , so I'm in for learning . cheers Wim

Beaut! When I just pay attention to the way the textures blend, it seems very fractal-like and organic, but large-scale it seems mechanical, like clockworks. The end result is more important than the way it was composited.
