My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Good to hear no power boats allowed....prevent danger, disturbance and pollution. Excellent shot. Aloha

The "bother " is such a bonus, Tara.. Glorious capture, such peace in this place. Love the natural framing too. Hugs. Diane.

I agree with Di, a bonus for us if you do treat us three times daily!! Such a tranquil scene with beautiful reflections on the water. Great shot. xx

Looks like somebody in one of those pedal boat things. Love the duck, and the reflection along the waters edge.

OMG, three times a day? A wonderful birthday gift, and most magnanimous of your brother, but, it also means I have to conjure up three times as many profound comments as before, unless you emulate the policy of Valerie-Ducom and Ilona, which allows only one comment, reserved for the last photo. That would save a lot of typing. Anyway, a nice, serene photograph of Lake Ballinger, Tara, a spot that would make Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn green with envy. I like the POV and DOF of it all. Happy postings, my dear!

Awesome scenery though quite a bright picture :))!!!

Kalina - Yes, it's very sad. The sky here is white most of the time. There's a song that says "The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle," but that's only true if you're at 30,000 feet! We have an average of 75 clear days a year. The other 290 days the sky is white or gray.

Marvellous light and clors... great pict!

What a wonderful brother! Happy Birthday too! You look to be about..oh, let's seeeee....29? :) Hope you had a great one :) Beautiful lake, lots of pines in the distance and the budded trees are almost full. I'm not back, just dropping in to spank you on your b-day. Bea and I opened a store at 3DC and I'm busy making products. Hugs!
