Another water lily from Fairchild Botanical Garden just south of Miami. The undulations of the water's surface tension almost steal the show from the lily. Almost. This one is in rememberance of Mother's Day, coming this Sunday. Thank you Mom, for all that you've done for me, and for all that you put up with over the years! And I can't forget to mention the mother of my children either -- thanks for all that you do too Lis! -----

Kort, did you paint those lily pads? They look hand painted. Incredible! I can just see Mother Nature rising early in the morning, taking paintbrush in hand and trying to get the lily pads painted before you arrived. x:D Of course, the lily is exquisite. But the water is incredible with the movement and reflection in a dark pool. There is one little bit that flows clear between the 2 lily pads that catches my eye. Gorgeous photography, Kort.
