Here is a slightly more abstract take on the whole water lily theme. The star here is the wavering reflection of the lily in the water. The photograph was rotated 180 degrees and I had to lighten the reflected area a bit to achieve this look. Do you think Monet would have approved? Another flower for Mothers everywhere. Have a great weekend! -----

I'm sure Monet would have approven ! I'm living not so far from his marvellous garden in Giverny and I visited the place several times. Your marvellous pict has its place and a huge one Kort ! Excellent !

Not so much Monet but it is very interesting. I like the scallops around the pad best. they are in sharp contrast to the other lines and shapes in this. Very nice.

I think the water does have a Monet feel to it, but the leaf almost looks like a clam about to open up and gobble the abstract flower ! ~Cheers~ :o)

What a super reflection you caught here. I like Monet but yours are more defined so I like yours better. Lovely work.

Monet? Haven't seen his stuff on the Renderosity website as yet. Is he in the photography section? Wonderful colors, shimmering effects and POV in this abstractive creation, Kort! The petals remind me of the undulating blades of a kris: a Malaysian double-edged dagger. Happy Mother's Day!

I don't know about Monet, but you knocked my socks off with this one. Breathtaking! No socks, no breath...not a good sign for me, so better get this into my favorites before I pass out! Do ya think I like it, Kort? Perfection! Hugs, Suzanne x:)

I must be hungry. I keep seeing a big lobster claw...lol. It's lovely, Kortaloo. Very abstract and kind of mysterious. I like that it makes me look a tad longer. -M :^)
