Description

Had an opportunity to head out and snag a series of an osprey on Back Creek in Annapolis. Actually, there were two, but neither was being particularly cooperative, and I didn't have any white perch handy to bring them in close. I did get a good couple of burst series, out of one of which this image was composited in PhotoSHOP. Canon EOS Rebel XTi Sigma APO DG 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Macro focal length: 300mm (hence, there were some chromatic dispursion issues, but only minor) f/5.6 shutter: 1/1000sec ISO-100 Pattern metering

Thanks, vlaaitje. I do hate the thumbnail process somewhat 'cause you really have to crunch the heck out of it to make it meet Renderosity specs. I made a new one with a little less crunching..
