Description

A simple kitchen and bath remodel project. Not my best work, but it helped the client decide on layouts and color schemes and such! Thanks for looking!

Nice but there's no light that comes from the windows, they're only some pictures and they don't make any light or shadow. And you should also put some light fog for the lights coming from outside to create the effect that the sun lights into the kitchen.

The only lights in the scene ARE the outside. It's Image Based Lighting, a feature of mental ray, which is my preferred renderer in Maya. All the shadows and lighting comes directly from the images, there are no radial or spot lights whatsoever in this scene. Thank you for your suggestion about volumetric lighting, but I didn't feel it was necessary for the spacialization aspects which were the purpose of this project.
