Description

This is the second version of Jump Jet. It would appear that my attention to Harrier detail was somewhat lacking, and I accept your criticisms without rancour. I hope the corrections I have made will satisfy the critics. W. Vue 6,Cinema 4D,CS2.

just one more (not trying to be mean or anything) is the scale of the cockpit. Isn't it a touch large? that being said, it's better modeling than I can do...;) keep 'em coming.

I rather wish you'd kept the original for awhile, so we could tell what changes you made.

No one will ever be satisfied with the jump jet. They want it to soar off vertically with the same sense of L/D as it has in horizontal flight. They want to break the laws of physics as a matter of negotiation. When the JSF finally comes and goes supersonic it will just be 20% of what was demanded in the US/FRG V/STOL. No one has yet made a VTOl C-5 transport. They pout. They attempt to embarass. I love the clarity of the canopy and the sense of metallic liquidity to the whole image. This is a true dweller of the sky. Welcome!

I think the cockpit and forward fuselage need to be scaled down just a little, but other than that, it's an amazing model.

Looks great to me. Maybe you just need to back the camera off and use a long lens. Appears to me to be wide angle lens "distortion", rather than a modeling problem? I have a tutorial on that: http://www.art-head-start.com/free-stuff.html#tutes
