Description

I believe this is a female boat tailed grackle. I went to the lake and took a bag of bread, you would not believe how much easier it was to get close shots. They aren't birdbrains, they knew just by seeing the bag that I had food :-) and I was suddenly extremely popular! Thank you for your much appreciated comments, have a wonderful aternoon! Wendy

the ducks are the same way here. give them food and they will eat out of your hand, but have nothing and you can not get within 15 feet of the buggers.excellent capture
