I never tire of the blue! The ocean scene draws me into this image in a powerful way, Denzil. The surroundings look like they could be a vacation spot, an old hotel, maybe off season a bit. The decor is basic, maybe due to the sea mist and sand penetrating the building/house. I get a strong smell of the ocean, the seaweed, the wet air as I look at this. I am almost transported into this location. That doesn't happen to me all that often when I view art, so something about your image is working very powerfully on me, Denzil. It is fantastic, and I get a good feeling from it, a peaceful feeling. Hugs, Suzanne

"Hiatus," is a somewhat pessimistic title and I suspect it reflects your doubts on progress rather than anything in the picture. Artists have a peculiar problem in they have to constantly renew. You get the sense you are as good as the NEXT picture and that is illusive - beyond reach. It's the fun side of things. We become seer-ious but caught by the humorous implausibility. I digress - but the idea suits the approach to your pictures! I see "Comfort," as the subject here - rest after play. I like the books (nice touch. They take you into other worlds or into a pursuit of a better self). Enough from me. This machine is supposed to be rendering a picture for study and has grabbed seven hours for the job so far! I blame Ron Barnett. He wrote the formula.
