Description

So i managed to stay up until 3ish until i dozed off... but i had an alarm set for 4:10 so i woke up again and off i went with camera in hand to take some sunrise shots on Castle Sands. The "sea" is dead calm because i was stood on the other side of a concrete tidal pool the victorians used to use, you cant really tell that from the picture tho so maybe i shouldnt have said that ;-P Anyway - i have a few to come, this one just stood out and said "post me" so i did, surprisingly most of the shots i like werent actually of the sunrise, which is probably something to do with the fact that there wasnt many clouds in the sky and because of that not only was it difficult to shoot but it gave the scenery behind me a nice look with the light hitting it at such an angle and colour :) Anyway, hope you like it! Strikingly clear. The water is so blue and calm. What a lovely sight to wake up to. It's as if you've used a huge mirror to capture the reflections of the houses and land on the right side. Beautiful Rich - simply beautiful. xx

There is nothing more frustrating when you get up (or stay up) for the sunrise and there are no clouds to produce lovely colours. However you did fantastically well here and the water is perfect. I'm really amazing by the blue saturation, just enough but not too much. Well Done

)
