Description

I don't have a significant flower garden at home, but being in the bush("veldt") makes up for it as you can see. Some of these may be known to you as "weeds", depending on opinion, to me they are delightful components of nature.
I dedicate this to all the Renderosity folks trying to quit smoking - feel free to add your commitment below.
Thank you for you kind comments and visits to "Sunset angle":

I don't know about the smoking end of it, but if you concentrated on a weight loss program in South Africa, would that make you svelte in the veldt? Terrible pun, I know! Anyway, interesting and well done collage of plants, some of them weeds I suspect. You have become a real master of the collage, my friend. I haven't entered that arena as yet. In fact, I'm still feeling my way through frames.

The world would be a sadder place without the beauty of all flowers wild and tame. What a marvellous selection you have growing wild. A lovely presentation and good luck with the smoking challenge.

Lovely colours my friend. I tried quitting twice, the first time I told everyone and then everytime I even was OFFERED a smoke my mum would jump down my throat, I eventually after 6 months felt that if I was getting in trouble for not smoking I may as well get told off for smoking! A few years later I only told my fiancee (now hubby) Alan as I cut down and quit. One fellow who had hasseled me a lot about smoking didn't twig for 12 months! That was 12 years ago and I haven't lit up since. It is a nice strong feeling to say no, even with a lot of upheavals in the past few years. Give it a go, at your pace. Everything smells and tastes nicer. Good luck my friend. Jenny

Piet, lovely and nostalgic collage. They must be winter flowers. I didn't even think of smoking while contemplating them. They do work!

Excellent layout and presentation of collage for these wild flowers! Went on the link you sent me to create the "out of frame" effect, but it's a shareware ... About smoking , I'm like Zorg and Bibbybear : trying but failed... I know it's not good especially from an ecolo'girl like me ... ,[ hugs q:)

Wonderful observation and collage, Piet. Have been free of the dreaded tobacco weed for over 3 years now - sometimes having Chronic Fatigue has its advantages; I now don't smoke at all and drink very little. Miss coffee though :-( But find a buzz in different things now - like the artwork on Renderosity. Thank you.

Weeds are nothing more then wildflowers .. and I love wildflowers! I have not smoked for about 20 years now, and I can say it is the hardest thing I ever did, quit smoking. If I ever had another cigarette, I would be back to smoking a pack or more a day. I hope that never happens.
