Description

The afterglow of sunset. These are the Olympic mountains in Washington state with Puget sound in the foreground. If you wait about 15 to 30 minutes after a beautiful sunset, set your camera to 30 seconds and f16, mounted on a tripod, you can get the greatest afterglow pictures. If you are using film, longer you wait, the more purple/red the sky is (this due to the different film color layers asorbing light at different speeds). This is a digital capture, about 15 minutes after sunset. Comments are welcome
