Description

This has been in the works for a while - i did take this shot a while back and was planning on uploading it for my 200th upload, but realised that i needed different lighting to get what i wanted and also the exposures in the original attempt were too diverse so i went back and re-took the series of shots needed to make the necessary 360 degree panorama the same morning as the previous few shots - i knew i would get fairly even lighting apart from the tower, but that played nicely with it anyway. The alternative is waiting for a bright overcast day i suppose. The shot is of St Salvator's quad on university grounds and in the corner opposite the church is the spanish department and up until last year also where the International Relations department were based - which was very convenient for me as my degree was a joint honours in both subjects :) On nice days towards the end of term a lot of tutorials would most likely take place out on the grass... also you may not recognise it but if you take a look back in my gallery at the foam fight shots, this is the quad where that all happens :) Anyway - hope you like it... if you want to know how it is done check out this tutorial Enjoy! Rich

OMG!!! I have never seen anything like this before - this is amazing photography and postwork - fantastic!! It goes without saying that the colours and lighting are superb as is the clarity and detail of the buildings, but I'm still totally amazed by this brilliantly creative presentation!! Stunning. xx
