Description
Once upon a time, I was born and grew up 32 miles from Mount Saint Helens. On summer Sundays, we would often go up to the state park on the shores of Spirit Lake, which was just at the base of the volcano. You could fish, waterski, sunbathe, and swim in absolutely beautiful surroundings. My father and I even climbed it one day -- to a summit that is no longer there. All things change. Some things shouldn't.
90 % of this picture was done in Terragen. The eagles, floating logs, and even the steam plume were modeled in Bryce and then composited into the final product.
