Description

After a CPU issue and restore, i've been around all my "old" stuff, and decided to play a little with the classic James. So here he is. Playing also with expression. Thanks for looking! All comments are welcome :)

I did not even recognize James in the first place. Believable portrait, good lighting. Maybe the expression is a bit overdone, but then ... probably not. Great render.

Really wonderful detail all around, and especially the eyes are very attractive and "wet", although it bothers me a little bit that the edges of iris/sclera and pupil/iris are a bit too sharp - that is not your fault, it's a flaw in a great many eye textures. Also the cap shows a little bit of polygon edges. Really excellent warm, soft lighting and great bits of shadow all around.

Very interesting character and strong expression. Makes you wonder what made him so upset...The cap looks strange - I would expect some folds or asymmetry being that it is a soft material. It also looks like the fold is transparent for some reason.
