Description

I worked on his expression and glance. Who know what he intends to do? Thanks for viewing, all comments are welcome :)

Great image! Extremely realistic: the skin, the fire, just perfect. The expression if also very good, he seems a fanatic. He has that subtle look of craziness in his eyes, but really subtle, like you're not sure, which makes it even more scary. Lighting is also good. The only crit, really minor, would go for his hair, which looks like a texture and not real hair, specially in the profile of the head, on his left side. Anyway, great image!

Great detail on the texture, and a truly wicked expression... or is it? I like the lighting, but I don't know if I like the lighting with the match. I keep feeling like that intense light over his right shoulder would leech out the brightness of the flame. I don't know, it could be me.

Extraordinarily good skin work! You seem to have the subsurface down to an art.

Wow, absolutely awesome. The only thing that detracts from the image is the hair, looks painted. I think the match head inside the flame would be brighter wouldn't it, like white hot?

Great image. Only critique is the hair and his eyes. I think it would look better if he were looking at the flame. Right now it looks as though he's looking at the viewer. Nice though!

Great expression and pose. I wasn't liking the bright light on his head, then thought it would be cool if it was an orangey red, like the bright light was coming from the fire he just started (that look is pure mischief). Just a little subtle smoke or light to suggest he had been a very bad boy. <:O

Actually, good as it is, he kinda creeps me out. :) I really don't think I'd care to meet this fellow. No crits here, as the only one I had was already mentioned.

I think this is a fantastic piece of work and largely agree with the previous comments. The one thing I would point out though is that a match almost never stays dead straight when it's burning, it kind of shrinks at the burning end and also sometimes bends if you know what I mean. Having said that, it depends on how long the match has been burning... ;-) I can't believe I'm actually getting picky about this... Great job!

Gorgeous! Wonderful flame on the matchstick, I don't mind how long it's beeng going :P A couple of small things, there is a tiny bit of mesh crumple at his pectorals, and if you could give his hair a little displacement that would be a big benefit. There is a trick for getting skullcaps to show displacement that I don't know the details for, but I have seen it work very well (see Rainbowgirl's gallery for some examples). Great light and just about perfect SSS usage.

I figure this guy facing another character tied to a pole and soaked with gasoline. The caption could be "Now you'll tell me what I need to know"...

Man the eyes I think can say a lot, is this the kid you would see on X-files with the creepy music in the back ground as the room around him bursts into flames or is just someone alone in need of attention hmmmmm? Amazing color and life like skin tones and lighting it truly is a work of art creep and all!!

This is highly realistic, and the character himself is nicely disturbed and disturbing. Could bumpmapping be added to his hair? It's the only thing that looks painted on and not as realistic. Wonderful job overall.

He looks great, wonderful lighting, but the hair does let this down a bit, still wonderful though.
