Description

Hey folks. This has been a banner week. Lets see...in addition to my pc being in a coma, and some other minor mishaps, there was also this wonderful little event kicking off my hump day... That morning, I was going down the stairs in my big, pink, fluffy slippers and thick, coke-bottle glasses, ( I know lovely, huh? ), and I was just about at the bottom, when somebody passed by my house walking their dog. That's when all three of my 'ponies' suddenly made a stampede for the door. ( Because, you know, they absolutely HAVE TO bark their heads off at any creature who thinks they have the right to walk in front of our house )...So anyway, the fact that sleepy Mommy was in their way, evidently was irrelevant ...and BOOM! Three hundred pounds of brown madness, suddenly walloped me from behind. At that point, graceful moi went head-first down the stairs, straight into the granite, hallway floor.... Sigh...Stupid slippers, stupid glasses, stupid dogs...stupid, stupid me...Fortunately, my lower lip was there to break the fall. :^/ Ouch...Beat beat beat....Lovely. It has it's own pulse now... I guess I'm lucky. It could have been worse. In addition to the massive, pulsating lip I have right now, I could have easily lost a few front teeth, as well. Oh yeah, wouldn't that have looked lovely...the perfect way to complete my wonderful slipper and eyeglasses ensemble. I also had the 'good fortune' of being in this lovely get-up, with this oh so colorful face, when good ol' Meg let the author of my book project into the house, unannounced. I have to give the boy credit. He barely flinched. Personally, I'm surprised he didn't run out of the house screaming. Let me tell you, I ain't all that purrrrrrrrrdy right now. Oh, and what better way to end this wonderful week than this... Last night, I was reeeeeeeally thirsty. ( Drinking isn't easy when your lip is the size of a golfball...schlurp schlurp schlurp... ) Anyway, that's when I spied the Poland Spring water bottle on the kitchen counter and took a great big swig. Except it wasn't water...As it was on it's way down, I discovered, much to my growing horror, that I had just swallowed a great, big, giant gulp of white vinegar. Oh yeah. That was special......burn burn burn....I could feel it going all the way down...I guess on the upside, my esophagus is probably all shiny and streak-free now... Aaaah yes....it's good to be me. -M :^d
